A life-long Salisbury resident and world traveler: Mark started his working career as a licensed Marine Engineer, graduating from the Calhoon MEBA Engineering School (Baltimore, MD) in 1981.  In the spirit of adventure, he spent the next 20 years in the US Merchant Marine and sailed the world’s oceans on various ocean-going cargo vessels, his last 8 years sailing as a chief engineer.

Mark came ashore (retired) from the merchant marine in 2001 to pursue his passion and has gone on to create a second career in the financial services field. He is a Registered Representative, Investment Advisor Representative, and Licensed Insurance Agent. In addition to his engineering background, Mark holds a B.S. in Finance from Excelsior College, graduating Magnum Cum Laude, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Mark specializes in financial planning, retirement income solutions, and portfolio management. He enjoys helping people address important life changing events such as a career change or retirement.  Mark demonstrates a strong work ethic and is personally committed to each client's financial future.

He serves on the Advisory Council for the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business Department of Economics and Finance at Salisbury University and the Investment Committee of the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.

Having grown up with a sister who struggled with severe cerebral palsy, he continues to be an active disabilities advocate and volunteers his time and resources with Holly Center and Easter Seals.

Whether hitting the gym, swimming or water skiing, Mark tries to keep the momentum moving.  He and his wife Patty are active outdoorsmen, love to travel and enjoy spending time with their extended families.
